Skills and Competencies we are seeking in a Staff Accountant, Tax:
  • Proficiency in preparing individual, partnership, and S corporation tax returns.

Minimum requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • CPA credentials OR Working to obtain CPA designation/eligible to sit for the exam.
  • General knowledge of accounting principles and/or regulations impacting each engagement or project, financial markets, analysis, and reporting of financial data
  • Involvement in performing compilations and reviews.
  • Experience in preparing individual, fiduciary, corporate, and partnership tax returns, including multi-state returns.
  • Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Office
  • Familiarity with Thomson Reuters and Quickbooks software
  • Previous CPA/ accounting internship experience preferred
